Cotna is a beautiful Eco Retreat with three boutique yurts and a shepherd’s hut. Set on an organic smallholding on the Roseland Peninsula, this hidden green valley is within walking distance of the sea. Our three yurts at Cotna Eco Retreat are spaciously set in a sunny and sheltered green valley contained by ancient Cornish stone hedges, a willow-lined stream and organic apple trees which the yurts are named after. From your yurt you’ll tune into birdsong, sit under the bright stars, wander through the woodland and unwind close to nature. Yet with the luxury of glamping in a comfy bed with a kitchen and cooking equipment, dining table and a woodburner. Each yurt has its own campsite facilities: a compost toilet and hot shower outdoors with a sink, picnic table and firebowl. Footpaths lead you down through the woodland to the sea and quiet beaches as well as the local villages of Gorran Haven and Mevagissey.
Gilliflower Yurt is the most secluded yurt, ideal for retreats and best suited for 1-3 people. Decorated with an original Mongolian tension-band it contains a double hand-made bed made from Cotna Eco Retreat elm as well as a single mattress. It is set in its own orchard overlooking 4 acres of woodland with a footpath and stream leading down to the sea and South West Coast Path.
