16th Century Castle, West Wing
Description
Lickleyhead Castle is a beautiful historic building located in Royal Deeside. We host stays for larger groups to take hoildays, birthdays and other special life events. We also have wonderful wee weddings at the castle. Our story dates back to the middle ages and the castle has been graced by the presence of both royalty and Hollywood stars in its many centuries. Most guests select self-catering during their stay, but we will happily assist you in finding caterers.
The West Wing of Lickleyhead Castle is the larger part of the castle and gives groups who do not quite have the numbers to fill the whole building the option of instead taking the majority of the structure. It sleeps up to twelve in comfort and is the part of the castle visible as you approach. The West Wing includes the great hall, the laird’s room, with its four poster bed, the Maitland suite and the 17th century styled Forbes room among others. The rooms in the West Wing are exclusively for the use of your party during your stay. There are no shared areas within the West Wing between yourselves and those staying in the East Wing. The castle can be fully split.
